Early Learning and School Readiness

Children are born ready to learn. The experiences that children have in the early years are the foundation for growth and development; what they learn through these experiences is shaped by a child's family, community and school. More and more research is pointing to the early years (birth to five) as crucial years in fostering a child's potential.

Because of this, the Montana PIRC is committed to bringing you information, research, and learning opportunities to support you in your efforts to help Montana's littlest ones develop a strong foundation to grow on.
